BET Awards Red Carper 2013

The BET Awards 2013 has rolled back again, and I am here to bring you the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Let's get it started. 

 

 Here we have August Alsina and the weave hair killer himself, 2 Chainz. I am definitely feeling the color scheme on August, nice look for his first red carpet. 2 Chainz outfit not so much, but hey that's 2 Chainz for you. 

 

Next, we have this horrible wardrobe malfunction up next. Whoever styled these three men need to come see me, ha. Always have custom designed fits for the red carpet. I give you J.Cole. DJ Drama, and Brandon T.

  

Then, we have one of my fave celebs but least favorite looks. Chris Brown usually delivers but this year was not the case. I believe the look was a little to simple for the Red carpet. On the other hand Chris Brown's new artist Sevyn, is looking great in her all white ensemble. 

Body Party's songstress, Ciara, is looking fabulous I must admit. I'm a leather fanatic, so she won me with this simple yet chic look. You go C ! Oh yeah, kudos to her hairstylist !

 

All white ensembles were seen this year on the Red Carpet, which happens to be a 2K13 fall trend. I guess wardrobe stylists wanted to start early. Here we have Ashanti in her white ensemble looking gorgeous.

 

Angela Simmons and Michelle were spotted in their all white. I am not a fan of the two outfits. But yes to white !

"RETROspective Dreams" Styled by Yours Truly.

This Summer I am focusing on my styling career entirely, so I recently begin building up my portfolio. With my clientele increasing, I decided it's time to increase my worth as well. I recently just styled my first photo shoot, and I can say that I am happy with the outcome. My photo shoot is titled RETROspective Dreams,  the name was given because of the attire I used in the shoot. Jerseys, gold jewelry, overalls, and high waist pants are articles of clothing that would be considered retro.

My first model, @jazminesettle is wearing a retro Orlando jersey, with Urban Outfitters high waist shorts and jean button down, Calvin Klein heels, with vintage gold jewelry. 

My second model @chelbrea is wearing Urban Outfitters overalls with a jean button down and royal blue Zara heels to complete the look.

New Artist: August Alsina

Last night, I got the chance to meet new singer August Alsina in Memphis, TN. You may have heard his new banger with Trinidad James called I Luv This Sh*t. Wow, I must say his voice is amazing literally. His great looks just gives him the whole package. He was amazingly humble and took many pictures with fans which was a sigh of relief. Be on the look out for the New Orleans native. His recent mix tape is out called The Product 2. 

Celebrity Stylist: Tiffany Hasbourne

Meet Celebrity Stylist, Tiffany Hasbourne hailing all the way from New York. I recently got the pleasure of meeting up with Tiffany in Memphis, Tn. She was recently in Memphis working on Yo Gotti's album packaging. She started off her career by working with 50 Cent she then went on to work with High School Musical , Idris Elba, French Montana, and August Alsina. You can pretty much say she has the industry on lock. She gave me a lot of advice I would need when trying to break into the business , and she gave it to me real. Tiffany said, " You have to be nice , people are not going to want to work with you if you have a nasty attitude." I must say it was a pleasure to speak with her and I appreciate it fully. RiRi Fashion Alert

Alert Alert Alert! RiRi was spotted in Paris rocking a maroon velvet jumpsuit which I need to have hanging in my closet as I type! She topped off the outfit with her chunky jewelry and snakeskin clutch . Another RiRi look I adore !
